A new section of the Politoons blog has opened with a discussion about combining writing and art. I’ve started with some thoughts on how simple ‘one liner’ or ‘box’ cartoons do this, but your thoughts are welcome too, below is an introduction and there’s more on the Thoughts on Cartoon Poetry page.
An introduction
The connection between writing and drawing is simple -if a little archaic. Symbols such as marks on a page can just as easily combine to make an image as tell a story.
