In 2005, the Marking the Transition Poetry Project took place at Bedminster Family Practice and the local Library. A group of patients took part in a series of workshops that developed new writing to mark the move of the old Dean Lane Surgery into the purpose built Centre for Well Being, Bedminster Family Practice.

The collection of poetry has been archived at Bedminster Library, and includes an audio CD of the authors reading their and discussing their creative work.
