Endelienta: developing a programme to foster the arts and spirituality

T S Eliot Prize shortlist discussion led by The Indian King Poets

please book in advance as if we have too large a group a different venue will need to be booked.  Different members will lead discussions of the shortlisted poets work.  Please print off your own copies of sample pages from the PBS website.  Saturday 30 November will be Dannie Absie, Sinead Morrissey, and Robin Robertson.  On Monday 9 December, George Szirtes; Saturday 21 December Helen Mort, Michael Symmons Roberts and Anne Carson; on Monday 6 January Moniza Alvi; on Monday 13 January Maurice Riordan; and on a date still tbc Daljit Nagra.

The Falmouth Poetry Group

meets every second Monday of the month at 7.00 pm in Cornwall Polytechnic library, Church Street, Falmouth.  FPG members £2, non-members £3 per session.  Poems are read aloud by the poet, then discussed and work-shopped before the poet comes back in.  Criticism is acute and professional (always friendly) but can be very helpful.  FPG annual subscription is £10).  For more info contact: moira.andrew@uwclub.net.

An evening session of The Indian King Poets (see above) held in Camelford fom 19.00-21.00.  This is a new venture as Monday mornings are now so busy we needed more space and time for newcomers, and for those who cannot attend daytime sessions anyway.
