Pamphlet One begins a new monthly series from The Poetry Point Press

Pamphlet One comprises eight new poems by Mac Dunlop that engage with the personal and political. They range in theme from mass media events to awkward cultural traditions, with some inspiration from the ancient Persian poet Hafez and Isaiah Hull a contemporary poet based in Manchester. To find out more about the Poetry Point’s new pamphlet series, or to order a personal copy (£3+p+p) get in touch using the contact form below. Pamphlet One is also available from Jam Records, in Falmouth.

excerpt from Grouse Shoot:

“staring down barrel army gun monkeys fun drumming up
support in single file air gun retorts backfire brimming
love potion murder comedy flicks mix singing
word void banging on dark side of moon dead end”

from Prohibiscus:

“wrap me gut wrench fish hook plastic gullet of ink cartridge
drag line me from sea breeze after first landfall of mudslide
glorious as white snow peak of Kilimanjaro”

from Wallets and Guns:

“time is the rind on a watch strap”
