Des was a wonderful writer, storyteller and adventurer. A man of great sensitivity and humour who graced all who met him with his wonderful spirit.
Des Hannigan, journalist, travel writer, and photographer, contributed to over fifty books about travel in a number of countries, including Ireland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Canada and Pakistan and also wrote widely about Cornwall’s coast and countryside.
