the next Telltales at the Rum bar, on May 29th
The next Telltales will take place on Tuesday 29th May at The Rum Bar, Falmouth (TR11 3PN) but this time they’re trying something a little different.
Every Telltales is themed to pull the programme together, while also acting as an inspiration point for writers, and usually TT picks the theme ourselves.
However, for May they’d like to open the floor and find out what you think the theme should be?
Email them with your suggestions and they’ll make a decision then let you know straight after Easter.
From there, the process will be the same as always. Write something (or find something you’ve already written) loosely based on the winning theme, and submit it through their website – www.wordslikepictures.com/telltales.
Short story, novel extract, poetry, prose, travel journal, script – anything goes. The only rules are that it must be an original piece of work written by the reader. Other than that it’s up to you. Submit by Friday 18th May, then we”ll have a read and let you know if you’ve been successfully programmed.
Good luck!
